Alice's Adventures in Wonderland like noted in my previous page has now seen over a hundred editions of the book, as well as countless adaptations in other media, especially theatre and film.

Both of the Walt Disney's adaptions are well known and loved in homes of many families, even more so than the original story written by Lewis Carroll himself and I was fascinated to see so many different intakes on the tale in the forms of film, plays, music, art and fashion.

Although Burton's take on Alice In Wonderland is the one I am most familiar with and that of which I have favourited due to artist behind the picture I was fascinated by the one ever production of Alice. Not only is aesthetic pleasing to the eye - the severely damaged material, but the facts around the short film - that it was made just 37 years after Lewis Carroll wrote his novel and eight years after the birth of cinema.
